During Humanities Career Night, you and 300 to 400 other students from your faculty will discover the possibilities for after your studies. Curious about what the future holds?    

Talk to former students (alumni), meet organisations from the work field, attend workshops, have a professional profile photo taken and your CV checked! After this evening, you will have a better idea of what you can do after your studies and how to get there.

  • Pleun Nabbe

    Pleun Nabbe

    Editor @ Talpa Studios

    Pleun has been working as an Editor at Talpa Studios for over two years. During this time, she has contributed to series such as Muscles and Brains and De Bondgenoten, serving as Casting Director. She previously gained professional experience at the Netherlands Film Festival, Smarthouse Films, Pathé, BlazHoffski Productions, KRO-NCRV, and on television series including De Alleskunner, Steenrijk, Straatarm, and The Challenge Reunion. 

    Education: Media and Culture (BA) (specialisation in Film and Media Culture; minor in Brains & Bodies), Film and Television Studies (MA).

    Language: Dutch.

  • Jolien Knoben

    Jolien Knoben

    Researcher in Mental Health & Programme Coordinator SoFy @ Municipality of Alkmaar 

    Jolien works for the Municipality of Alkmaar as a Researcher in Mental Health and Programme Coordinator of SoFy. Through her work, she contributes to building a strong and cohesive network of mental health initiatives in the region, as well as to fostering a healthy physical living environment that encourages physical activity and social interaction. Alongside her professional work, she is enrolled in a training programme at the Association of Dutch Municipalities (VNG). 

    Education: Language and Culture Studies (BA) (major in Communication and Diversity), International Development Studies (MA).

    Language: Dutch.

In the Timetable, you will see when the different sessions will take place during the evening. There are three rounds: you can attend one activity per round, or choose to skip the sessions in one round and instead explore the alumni market or have a photo taken.
