    Thinking Facilitator and Argument Mapper @ De Argumentenfabriek

    As a thinking facilitator and argument mapper at De Argumentenfabriek, Ipo works on mapping complex societal issues and stimulating collective reflection. He describes his background as follows: “My background in philosophy and sustainability enables me to approach issues critically, question assumptions, and identify the core of a problem.” 

    Education: Liberal Arts and Sciences (BA) (major in Philosophy, Politics and Economics and a minor in Conflict Studies), Global Challenges for Sustainability (MA).

    Karianne Lemmen-Friedrich

    Lecturer in English @ Avans University of Applied Sciences 

    For over four years, Karianne has worked as a Lecturer in English at Avans University of Applied Sciences. Previously, she worked as a lecturer for Celtic Studies, entered primary education through an alternative teacher training program, and worked as a language teacher for the British Language Training Centre. She is also affiliated with the Dutch Research School for Medieval Studies, drawing on her expertise in Celtic languages. 

    Education: Spanish Language and Literature (BA), Celtic Languages, Literatures and Linguistics (MA).

    Language: English.

    Do you dread applying for jobs? Is the threshold so high that you keep putting it off? And would you like to learn how to deal better with thoughts and feelings that get in your way during the job application process? During this workshop, you will gain insight into your pitfalls, such as procrastination or perfectionism. You will learn strategies to reduce the impact of unhelpful thoughts and feelings while applying for jobs, and you will receive practical tips on how to cope with stress and tension.

    Olympia

    Olympia gives meaning to work and helps people find a job they truly enjoy and that energizes them. Olympia looks beyond a CV, focusing on the person behind it. Olympia combines mediation with career guidance, because there are so many jobs that it can be difficult to find what you truly want. Olympia offers a workshop on “Successful Job Applications” because they believe everyone should be able to have a job that energizes them. Learn how to stand out and make a good impression on every recruiter!
