During Humanities Career Night, you and 300 to 400 other students from your faculty will discover the possibilities for after your studies. Curious about what the future holds?    

Talk to former students (alumni), meet organisations from the work field, attend workshops, have a professional profile photo taken and your CV checked! After this evening, you will have a better idea of what you can do after your studies and how to get there.

    Yente van Hulst

    Managing Director @ NANOEK

    As Managing Director at the NANOEK Foundation, Yente is responsible for financial oversight, the development and implementation of strategic policy, fundraising, and grant management. She also contributes to the realization of NANOEK’s artistic and social objectives. In addition, Yente is actively involved with Kunstbende, Willem van Oranje – De Musical, Lommerde Producties, and Huis73. 

    Education: Musicology (BA), Contemporary Theatre, Dance and Dramaturgy (MA).

    Annegida Koek

    Programme Coordinator @ Bibliotheek AanZet 

    Annegida works as a Programme Coordinator at Bibliotheek AanZet. During her bachelor’s degree, she completed a board year at the student association Euphorion. She did internships at the Savannah Bay bookstore and VKB Publishers. Before her current role at the library, she worked as an editorial coordinator at Prelum, a publishing company that develops learning solutions for the healthcare sector.

    Education: Literary Studies (BA) (specialisation: Literature in Conflict), Literary Studies (MA) (specialisation: Literary Business).

    Koninklijke Bibliotheek

    In this workshop, Mirjam Cuper takes you into the world of heritage and the KB; the national library of the Netherlands. What exactly happens within the KB and with heritage? What choices are made regarding preservation and digitization? How does the digitization of heritage work? What role does AI play within the KB? And, of course, also important: what skills do you need to do this work? In this interactive workshop, you will get a look behind the scenes and learn more about making heritage digitally accessible.

    Career Services

    When finding an internship or job, it is important that you can clearly articulate all your skills. This workshop makes you aware of the transferable skills you have developed so far. After attending the workshop, you will have a clear picture of your skills and be better able to put them into words.
