Naomi van Manen
Naomi works as a Staff Member in the Reporting and Editorial Service for the House of Representatives of the States General. She previously worked at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. During her bachelor’s programme, she served as Education Commissioner for the study association Awater.
Education: History (BA), Dutch Language and Literature (MA).
Language: Dutch.

Robin Wisse
Robin works as a researcher at CAOP, a knowledge partner for work in the public sector. There, she examines issues such as teacher shortages, social safety at the NPO, and the working conditions of university lecturers. She does this work while having a work disability. Previously, Robin pursued a PhD in Philosophy at the University of Cambridge (not completed) and worked at the Utrecht Library. During her bachelor’s degree, she was treasurer of the FUF and a member of the university council.
Education: Philosophy (BA), research master’s in Philosophy at University College London (MPhil).

In this workshop, you will explore the job market based on your own preferences, motivations, and strengths. After this workshop, you will know how to approach potential employers and you will be more aware of the potential of your own network.

Salary Negotiation
Are you uncomfortable being assertive as a starter towards your future employer? A shame, because there is room for negotiation in every employment interview. In this workshop, you will learn how to conduct an effective employment interview. You will be introduced to the various topics you can negotiate on and will select the aspects that are most important to you. This will make it easier to conduct a salary negotiation.
