Lorraine Joore holds a Bachelor’s degree in Language and Cultural Studies from Utrecht University, with specialisations in Film and Television Studies, New Media and Digital Culture. During her studies, she was commissioner external and internal at the Studiestichting Alias. After her bachelor, she completed the master’s in Film Studies at the University of Amsterdam. She did several internships at radio (3FM-BNNVARA) and film production companies (Kaap Holland Film).

After this master’s, she started working as Sales Executive Theatrical at Splendid Film Benelux. Where her work consisted of building and developing successful theatrical sales strategies. She is currently Sales Executive at Dutch CORE, specialising in international sales of Dutch Public Broadcasting documentaries, drama series and youth programmes to TV-channels, streaming platforms and other media services around the world.

Lorraine Joore heeft een Bachelor Taal- en Cultuurstudies aan de Universiteit Utrecht afgerond, met specialisaties in Film- en Televisiewetenschappen, Nieuwe Media en Digitale Cultuur. Tijdens haar studie was ze commissaris extern en intern bij de Studiestichting Alias. Na haar bachelor voltooide ze de master Film Studies aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam. Ze heeft verschillende stages gevolgd bij radio (3FM-BNNVARA) en filmproductiemaatschappijen (Kaap Holland Film).

Na deze master is zij gaan werken als Sales Executive Theatrical bij Splendid Film Benelux. Waar haar werkzaamheden bestonden uit het opbouwen en uitwerken van succesvolle theatrical sales strategieën. Momenteel is ze Sales Executive bij Dutch CORE, gespecialiseerd in de internationale verkoop van Nederlandse Publieke Omroep documentaires, dramaseries en jeugdprogramma’s aan TV-zenders, streaming platforms en andere media services wereldwijd.
