Hanna van Veeren from Study Association Atlas: “ECHO is a non-governmental organisation that works very hard on creating an inclusive society, with equal chances for everyone, regardless their (cultural) background. To realise this goal, they develop programmes and projects to increase understanding for different experiences and cultural backgrounds. Examples include the ECHO Mentoring Programme, the Pre-Academic Programme and the Students-4-Students Campaign. ECHO develops products zuch as the ECHO Award and the ECHO Study Trip as well. Josefien concerns herself with several of ECHO’s international projects, such as the European MURAL project and a project called MultInclude.”
