Marthe den Hond connects people to art and culture.
Marthe den Hond completed the bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences in 2021 with a major in ‘Performing Arts’ and has now been working at We Are Public for more than 2.5 years, for some time now as a program coordinator.
During her student years, she did a board year at Stukafest where she fulfilled the role of PR coordinator. During her studies she took the minors ‘Creative Cities’ and ‘Art, Culture and Society’. After completing her bachelor’s degree, she did an internship at TivoliVredenburg’s Knowledge & Debate program. In addition to her work, Marthe is currently completing a pre-master’s degree in Visual Anthropology.
We Are Public was founded in 2014 and strives to give the public access to art and culture and thereby support hundreds of makers and more than 500 cultural institutions. The organization now has more than 10,000 members and is active throughout the Netherlands.
Concluding, Marthe has been active in cultural and artistic organizations and now continues her interests as a program coordinator at We Are Public.

Marthe den Hond verbindt kunst en cultuur met publiek.
Marthe den Hond heeft in 2021 de bachelor Liberal Arts and Sciences afgerond met een hoofdrichting ‘Performing Arts’ en is nu ruim 2,5 jaar werkzaam bij We Are Public, sinds geruime tijd als programmacoördinator.
Gedurende haar studententijd deed ze een bestuursjaar bij Stukafest waar ze de rol vervulde van PR-coördinator. Tijdens haar studie volgde ze de minoren ‘Creative Cities’ en ‘Kunst, Cultuur en Maatschappij’. Na afloop van haar bachelor heeft ze nog een stage gelopen bij het programma Kennis & Debat van TivoliVredenburg. Op dit moment is Marthe naast haar werk een pre-master Visual Anthropology aan het voltooien.
We Are Public werd in 2014 opgericht en streeft ernaar om publiek toegang te geven tot kunst en cultuur en daarmee ook honderden makers en meer dan 500 culturele instellingen te ondersteunen. De organisatie heeft ondertussen meer dan 10.000 leden en is actief in heel Nederland.
Kortom: Marthe is veelal actief geweest bij culturele en artistieke organisaties en zet dit nu door als programmacoördinator bij We Are Public.
