Renske Bakkenes from Study Association Euphorion: “Yaël van der Wouden studied Literature Sciences from 2009 to 2012. She was very active within this study, as she was teaching assistant as well as editor for the literature journal FRAME. She continued doing this after having received her degree.
Since 2017, Yaël has been co-founder and co-editor at Chaos Publishing. This is a feminist publisher that wants to give a voice those that have been suppressed within the literature sector. So far they have published two works, including a translated version of A Room of One’s Own by Virginia Woolf (with an extra essay).Daarnaast is Yaël een schrijver. Over het laatste jaar is haar werk genomineerd voor Best Small Fictions, Best of the Net, en de Pushcart Prize. Haar essay over Anne Frank, geïnspireerd door haar BA thesis, is genoemd onder Best American Essays 2018.”
